Tonight TBS kicks off the new comedy series The Detour with back-to-back episodes. The series was created by husband and wife team/former The Daily Show correspondents Samantha Bee and Jason Jones. Nate Parker (Jason Jones) is having some financial troubles and problems at work that he wants to keep secret from his wife Robin (Natalie Zea, Justified). So he decides to secretly change the family's vacation plans--instead of flying from Upstate New York to Florida, they will now be taking a 17-hour road trip instead. But along the way everything that can go wrong does, and this leads to a lot of wacky misadventures for the Parker family...

Last week Banshee returned to kick off its fourth and final season on Cinemax. In an unusual move, the series took an 18-month time jump, and in that period, Lucas had become a recluse, squatting in a remote cabin belonging to Kai Proctor! Lucas was forced to come out of seclusion, clean up, and reenter society when Rebecca's dead body washed ashore. After Sheriff Brock gave Lucas a tour of the newly-renovated police station, he told him that he and Kai Proctor—who is now the mayor—were both suspects. Lucas decided to look into who really killed Rebecca, which was going to be a tough task—while he was never really the sheriff, at least in the past he would have had the department resources to help him out on things like this. Meanwhile Carrie was having her own issues—her husband died at the end of last season, and shortly afterwards Social Services took away her children, and now she has to deal with court-mandated therapy sessions in order to get them back. We also learned that reformed neo-Nazi Kurt Bunker was still working for the Banshee PD, and that he was secretly sleeping with his brother's wife. And finally, we still don't know where Job ended up after he was taken in last season's finale...

Tonight CBS's updated version of The Odd Couple returns for its second season. When we last left off, Oscar was being audited by the IRS, but since he and ex-wife Gabby had filed jointly that year, it meant that they actually needed to talk to one another. And in typical sitcom fashion, bickering between the former couple led to a rekindling of feelings, and sex. However, by the end of the episode the two decided they were better off just friends. Last week on The Americans, Philip and Elizabeth were trying to come up with a solution to the whole Pastor Tim problem. The both knew he had to be killed, but they feared that Paige would be devastated and would also likely figure out that they were responsible. As they debated, Paige came clean, telling them she revealed their secret to Pastor Tim, who had also told his wife. The Jennings came up with a plan to take a family trip to Epcot so they are away when the Pastor and his wife have their “accident” and even made it all look like son Henry’s idea so Paige won’t be suspicious. However, that plan fell apart when the Jennings received a call saying that something was wrong with Gabriel—they suspected he might have contracted an infectious disease, and now they had to quarantine themselves for 36 hours. This meant no trip and that they would now look even guiltier to Paige if they couldn’t explain their whereabouts when Pastor Tim is killed...
