A couple weeks ago, I finally caught up on Schitt’s Creek, a series that has been on my “To Watch” list for years. I was pleasantly surprised. It’s a very fun, off-beat show with some really wacky characters. Ever since my binge, the wait between episodes feels like forever! Last week, David’s ex came to town under the premise that he was there to help Moira, but he ended up taking some compromising pictures that she quickly regretted, and so David helped his mother retrieve and destroy the photos. Elsewhere, Alexis worked off some of her public service hours by joining Doctor Ted in his volunteer work, dancing with some lonely old ladies. However, she soon learned that Ted still has feelings for her and that women were holding a grudge against her for breaking their beloved Ted’s heart. Meanwhile, Johnny suspected that Bob was cheating at their poker games, when in reality all the other players just had really easy tells. However, when Roland made his accusation known, this put Johnny in the dog house...

Tonight, Syfy launches the new reality competition series, Cosplay Melee. Each week, four new, talented cosplayers will go head-to-head to transform themselves into amazing characters of their own design. In the first round, the contestants are given a theme and eight hours to come up with a character and to create a small piece of their overall costume. The judges will then choose one contestant to get an advantage in the next round and another contestant to be sent home. In the second round, the remaining three contestants are given two days to fully realize their vision but not before learning about a little twist in the requirements for the costume. At the end of each episode, the contestants head out on the runway in full makeup and costume where the judges—host Yvette Nicole Brown (Community), cosplay model LeeAnna Vamp, and costume creator Christian Beckman—will award the winner with $10,000...

Tonight, AMC’s martial arts drama, Into the Badlands, returns for its second season. As the first season came to a close, Sunny had become close with MK and didn’t want to kill the “Dark One,” so he tried to pass off another severed head as proof of death to the River King to get passage out of the Badlands. Elsewhere, Veil had been captured by the Widow, who was forcing her to tend to her wounds from an earlier battle with Sunny. At the same time, Quinn chained Sunny in the dungeon under the suspicion that he was the traitor to his father. As Quinn took MK to a brothel, they quickly realized that it was a trap – Jacoby was waiting to kill the boy, and so Quinn sliced the boy’s hand with his sword in order to activate his blood rage. While they were fighting, Sunny showed up and stabbed and seemingly killed Quinn. But the main event that was going on at the same time was interrupted when the Brothers showed up with their glowing fists, and they easily took charge of the waking up a prisoner on a boat heading to who-knows-where...
