ATX TV Festival Adds MINX Season 2 Premiere, Podcast Showcase with PodCo Founders & Hosts

Plus, Manifest & Everyone Is Doing Great Screenings add Panelists


Austin, TX — ATX TV Festival has announced additional programming for Season 12 of the festival, taking place June 1-4 in Austin, TX.

The festival will feature the Season 2 premiere of Minx , the 1970s workplace comedy, which stars Ophelia Lovibond and Jake Johnson, and centers around the creation of the first erotic magazine for women. Produced by Lionsgate Television, the new season of Minx premieres Friday, July 21 on STARZ. Following the premiere screening, Lovibond and Johnson will be in attendance for a conversation.
 

PodCo, the visually-driven podcast network from Brendan Rooney and Christy Carlson Romano (Even Stevens, Kim Possible), will also be joining the line-up for Season 12.

The podcast network’s first time at the festival will feature a block of live podcasts hosted by Christy Carlson Romano, featuring fan-favorite hosts from several of the network’s hit series, including:

  • “Wizardly of Waverly Pod” hosts Jennifer Stone (“Harper Finkle”) and David DeLuise (“Jerry Russo”)
  • “Ned’s Declassified Podcast Survival Guide” hosts Devon Werkheiser (“Ned”), Lindsey Shaw (“Moze”), and Daniel Curtis Lee (“Cookie”)
  • “Brotherly Love Podcast” hosts Joey, Matt, and Andy Lawrence

In addition, PodCo Co-Founders Rooney & Romano and President Calvin Robertson will join for a conversation about the creative and business aspects of launching a podcast company, and what makes PodCo’s video-forward vision unique. There will also be an exclusive surprise announcement of PodCo’s newest podcast during one of their panels.
 

The following panelists will also be joining the festival’s previously announced screenings and conversations for Manifest and Everyone Is Doing Great:

  • Manifest cast members Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Parveen Kaur, Matt Long, Holly Taylor, and Daryl Edwards will join for a Q&A following the premiere of Season 4 Part 2
  • Everyone Is Doing Great cast members Karissa Lee Staples & Phoenix Washington, executive producer Ngoc Nguyen, executive producer/director Michelle Lang, and executive producer/writer Stuart Lafferty will join James Lafferty, Stephen Colletti, Alexandra Park, Cariba Heine for a Q&A following the World Premiere of Season 2
