I always enjoy taking my weekly trip back to the 80s with The Goldbergs each Wednesday. Last week, Erica decided that since she would be graduating and heading off to college soon, it was time for Adam and Barry to grow up and start fending for themselves. So when Barry starts a “Fonzie scheme” of stealing golf carts, it was up to Adam to be the voice of reason. However, when Barry accidentally got himself trapped under a golf cart, it was too much for Adam to handle on his own, and his big sister finally gave in and showed up to help. Meanwhile, when Murray was honored as one of Jenkintown’s top businessmen, Beverly realized that her husband had no hobbies outside the house, so she tried to help him come up with some, sarcastically suggesting couponing. Murray liked the idea of saving money and was soon got carried away, going completely overboard in true Beverly fashion…
