Last week on Suits, the event that we’ve been building to over the last four and a half seasons finally kicked off—Mike’s trial for impersonating a lawyer. Harvey and Jessica had convinced Mike to do a practice mock trial in front of the firm, and the proceedings led to some intense moments between Harvey and Mike. However, the mock trial was interrupted by Anita Gibbs, who showed up to announce that she had got the trail date moved up. Meanwhile, Harvey’s plan to ship Sheila out of the country so she couldn’t testify backfired, and Gibbs threatened to go after him for witness tampering if Sheila didn’t return from Argentina. At the trial, Gibbs put Donna on the stand, and she was forced to plead the fifth so as to not incriminate herself, which didn’t look good for Mike. Harvey was able to score some points by convincing Mike’s former client Jimmy to testify that Mike went to Harvard with him (which was a total lie). Gibbs tried to convince the jury that Jimmy was perjuring himself, but did she do enough?
