It’s Tuesday, and that means the release of new TV-on-DVD titles.
Here are a few of the shows coming to DVD and Blu-ray this week:

Star Trek: The Next Generation – Season One (Blu-ray)

Set in the 24th century, the exploits of the U.S.S. Enterprise continue as it explores the universe, seeking new life and new worlds. 2012 marks the 25th Anniversary of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION! STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION makes its full-season debut in spectacular high-def with THE FIRST SEASON on Blu-ray featuring all 25 first season episodes, brilliantly retransferred from original film elements into Hi-Def (NOTE: 2 seconds of the original film elements for the episode “We’ll Always Have Paris” have not been located and thus have been upconverted from Standard Definition videotape) and amazing visual effects, painstakingly re-created from these original film elements.

The set also includes over 95 minutes of brand-new documentaries featuring all new cast and crew interviews, as well as never-before released launch footage.

Childrens Hospital: The Complete Third Season (DVD)

The courageous men and women of Childrens Hospital – brilliant, egotistical, nymphomaniacal doctors all – do whatever it takes to save sick kids’ lives whether they deserve it or not. Led by resident clown doctor Blake Downs (Rob Corddry), the CH team will disrobe, do Ecstasy, donate organs (except for the important one), or set up digs in a hospital bathroom.
Show creator Corddry (The Daily Show with Jon Stewart) stars with series regulars Malin Akerman (27 Dresses), Lake Bell (Boston Legal), Erinn Hayes (Parenthood), Rob Huebel (The Descendants), Ken Marino (Party Down), Megan Mullally (Will & Grace), Henry Winkler (Happy Days) and a slew of celebrity drop-ins. Get your hands on all 14 Season Three episodes of this outlandishly incorrect, medically dope and seriously short series that’ll literally get you high. Not really.

This set also includes Deleted Scenes, a Gag Reel, “Glen & Mom” featurette and Bloopers & Screwups.

Boss: Season One (Blu-ray and DVD)

“Boss,” the Golden Globe-winning show from STARZ that critics are calling the “best new show of the season,” starring Kelsey Grammer as Chicago’s ruthless Mayor Tom Kane. Kane (Golden Globe winner Grammer) is King of Chicago, and he rules his domain with an iron fist. Deception, scandal, and betrayal go hand in hand with Kane’s form of politics. As long as he gets the job done, the people of Chicago look the other way. Despite being the most effective mayor in recent history, Kane is hiding a dark secret. A degenerative brain disorder is ripping everything away from him, and he can’t trust his memory, his closest allies, or even himself. Watch as Kane viciously fights battles on all fronts in “Boss” Season 1.

This set also includes Audio Commentaries and Featurettes.
