There is only one TV show being released on blu-ray this week, but I really wasn’t a fan of Louie and thus can’t really recommend this. Instead, I would recommend either Medium: The Seventh and Final Season or The Closer: The Complete Sixth Season.

Medium‘s final season was great because the producers knew it was going to be their last. They pulled out all the stops and gave the show a proper ending. I really enjoyed this show throughout its run and will miss it come the fall.

Also, you can’t go wrong picking up the penulimate season of The Closer (or at least it’s currently supposed to be). This show continues to provide great story lines for the characters while also mixing in interesting cases of the week. The seventh season premieres July 11 on TNT, so this gives a few weeks to catch up.
