Compared to last week, this week is extremely light on worthwhile releases.

For TV-on-DVD, the choice is very simple. I would definitely recommend picking up The Glades: Season 1. This is a fun cop drama about a Chicago police officer forced to move to the Florida Everglades. The second season of the show is currently airing on A&E.

There are only two TV blu-ray releases this week: Haven: The Complete First Season & Supernatural: The Complete Second Season. Seeing as Supernatural just finished its 6th season, many fans will have already purchased the DVD version of this set, or can pick it up very cheaply. I would recommend holding off on this blu-ray release until the inevitable price drop. As for Haven, it took almost half the season for this show to find it’s groove. However, once it did, it got really good. The show is a supernatural drama/mystery series about an FBI agent who arrives in the small town of Haven, Maine to investigate a murder, when strange things start to happen. I’m looking forward to the second season, which starts in July on SyFy.
