A lot of great releases this week–all for shows that are gearing up for their new seasons. For Blu-ray I will definitely be picking up Breaking Bad: The Complete Third Season. This little drama about a drug-dealing chemistry teacher continues to win awards for its stars (and deservedly so).

For DVD, I had a hard time choosing, but if forced to pick only one, I would go with one of this week’s fun ex-con caper shows, Leverage: Third Season. The cast continues to work well together, even adding a new team member (played by Jeri Ryan) into the mix this season.

You really can’t go wrong with TV-on-DVD this week. Also recommended are: White Collar: Season Two, Burn Notice: Season Four and The Big C: The Complete First Season.
