My DVD pick of the week is Childrens Hospital: Complete First & Second Seasons. I never watched this show when it first aired exclusively on the web, but once it started airing on Adult Swim, I was hooked! Childrens Hospital is a great parody of the more-than-often overly-dramatic network medical dramas like Grey’s Anatomy, ER and House.

For more family-friendly fare, I’d recommend checking out Melissa & Joey: Season One, Part One. This show has a very 90s TGIF feel with its modern-day Who’s The Boss? plot.
