Last week, MTV kicked off its new dark comedy, Sweet/Vicious. Jules (Eliza Bennett, Strike Back, Broadchurch) seems like your typical blonde sorority girl, but she is secretly leading a double life. At night Jules dons a mask and meters out her own form of vigilante justice against those guilty of sexual assault on the Darlington College campus. In last week’s premiere, computer-hacking weed dealer Ophelia (Taylor Dearden, 101 Ways to Get Rejected) discovered Jules’s secret and started following her. One night when Ophelia saw Jules in trouble, she stepped in to help, accidentally killing former star athlete/major assault suspect Carter Fischer with a wrench. The girls hid the body in the trunk of their car and headed to a bar talk about what to do next. While there, they ran into nice guy Tyler (Nick Fink, T@gged), who Jules had recently met at a party, only to discover that the dead body in their car belonged to Tyler’s stepbrother...

If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/21/16
Tonight TBS kicks off its new dark comedy Search Party, which centers around a group of self-absorbed twenty-somethings who find themselves mixed up in the mystery surrounding the disappearance of one of their former college classmates, Chantal. Dory (Alia Shawkat, Arrested Development) feels like a doormat—she’s got a thankless job working as an assistant to a rich housewife and is trapped in a relationship with boyfriend Drew (John Reynolds, Stranger Things), who only cares about his own needs. Despite having little memory of the missing girl, Dory makes it her mission to find Chantal in hopes of adding some sort of meaning and purpose to her life. She tries to rile up her friends to help with the search party, but actress Portia (Meredith Hagner, Royal Pains), narcissist Elliott (John Early, Your Main Thing), and boyfriend Drew seem more concerned with their images and dramatically posting to social media about how Chantal’s disappearance has affected them, rather than actually doing something to help. But this search party could be a way for Dory to get closer to journalist ex-boyfriend Julian (Brandon Michael Hall), who still makes her light up when he enters the room...

To make up for not airing a new episode last week, tonight FOX is serving up a double helping of Bob’s Burgers! In the last episode, Bob decided to try out Jimmy Pesto’s money-saving meat supplier, but the deal proved too good to be true. A pair of food-safety investigators informed Bob that the man was in fact selling horse meat (which of course horrified Tina) and that they needed him to go undercover to catch his new supplier on tape claiming that the meat was USDA beef. And of course the operation went nowhere near as smoothly as planned....
