Last week, Superstore took a week off, but tonight it returns for the first of the final three weeks of the season. In the last episode, Glenn brought all of his past and present foster kids to the store to take a family photo for wife Jerusha. Cheyenne offered to watch toddler Bobbie Sue but almost immediately lost sight of her. So Garrett and Dina helped build a baby trap out of a plastic container and a toilet plunger, with some black licorice for bait, and shockingly, it worked! Meanwhile, Mateo tricked some of the kids into doing his work for him, while he used them as a sounding board to deal with his breakup blues. And when Jonah made a connection with 25-year-old Kristen, Glenn asked Amy to take the fall as he tried to break them up...

Tonight, FX’s anthology series, Fargo, returns for its third season with a brand new cast and a new story. This third installment is set in 2010 and follows twin brothers Emmit and Ray Stussy (both played by Ewan McGregor, T2 Trainspotting). Emmit seems to have all the luck – he’s got the looks, has been married to his wife for 25 years, and has become the “Parking Lot King of Minnesota.” Meanwhile, slightly younger brother Ray is overweight and balding, spends his days as a parole officer watching people pee in cups, and has had one failed relationship after the next. However, Ray thinks he has finally met the woman he wants to marry, Nikki (Mary Elizabeth Winstead, BrainDead), one of his recent parolees. Ray blames his brother for his life’s misfortunes and soon finds himself mixed up in a plan to get payback that goes horribly wrong; and Emmit also discovers that things with his business aren’t exactly going the way he planned either, thanks to the mysterious V.M. Varga (David Thewlis, Harry Potter). Meanwhile, newly divorced mother/local police chief Gloria Burgle (Carrie Coon, The Leftovers) finds herself personally and professionally pulled into the brothers’ feud...

Tonight, I’m both excited to see how the first season of Trial & Error will come to an end but also sad that these could be the final two episodes of this hilarious NBC series. Last week, Larry’s trial got underway, and the prosecution spent almost 28 days making their case. By the time it was finally the defense’s turn, Summer was starting to look like a suspect, and Josh wanted to put her on the stand in order to cast reasonable doubt for Larry. However, when Josh went against Larry’s wishes and called Summer to the stand, Larry exclaimed that he was guilty of killing Margaret, which was met with cheers from the prosecution and a horrified look from Josh...

Last week, Angie Tribeca returned to kick off its third season on TBS, and the series was back to its usual delightful mix of satire, sight gags, puns, and general hilarity. Angie retired from the force in order to “go balls deep” into motherhood with her newborn. However, she quickly realized that she couldn’t hack it and sent the baby sent off to boarding school, immediately resetting the series back to the status quo. Angie is now back at her old job, and she and Giles are looking into the case of a kidnapped trophy hunter. She soon realized they are dealing with a serial killer, and so she met with the Hannibal Lecter-like “Zookeeper,” Dr. Thomas Hornbine (played by guest star Chris Pine), in his prison cell to get some help with the case. But now this criminal is in her head, and she’s also becoming more and more obsessed with the serial killer they are looking for...
