Tonight, The CW kicks off the fun new action/adventure series Hooten & the Lady. British Museum curator Lady Alexandra Lindo-Parker (Ophelia Lovibond, Elementary) is tired of being stuck behind a desk. She wants to go out into the world and track down priceless artifacts to bring back to increase the museum’s status and importance. So she heads off to the Amazon to search for the lost camp of explorer Percy Fawcett. While on her quest she crosses paths with a rogue American adventurer named Ulysses Hooten (Michael Landes, Special Unit 2, Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman). The two couldn’t be any more different: he’s a crude treasure hunter who’ll do anything to make a quick buck, while she’s a prim, proper lady who seeks out artifacts for their historical and sociological importance, to share with the world. However, this mismatched couple soon find their lives dependent on one another and must work together to survive the jungle and find their treasure...

Tonight, TruTV kicks off the new scripted comedy I’m Sorry, which follows the misadventures of wife/mother/comedy writer Andrea (Andrea Savage, Episodes, Veep, iZombie). While Andrea may seem confident in her job, she often lets her own neuroses get her into some pretty awkward and, for the viewer, humorous situations. By her side, trying to calm the craziness, is mild-mannered husband Mike (Tom Everett Scott, Scream: The Series, Reign, Z Nation), and young daughter Amelia (Olive Petrucci) — though she’s often the cause of some of the issues that come up. Tonight, TNT kicks off a double-episode premiere of the new series Will, which follows the early adventures of William Shakespeare (Laurie Davidson) as he tries to make his way as a playwright in 16th century London. As the series opens, Will leaves his wife and young children back home in the country to go to London to try to sell his plays. His wife is skeptical that anyone would want to buy his plays, but Will wants to see if there is a fortune to be made in his writings. The London theatre crowds seem to be getting bored with the same old tired tropes, and Will sees an opportunity to step in, but some don’t appreciate the competition. Will is used to the slower life of the country, and in the city he becomes a bit wide-eyed, finding himself the target of both thieves and temptations. This is also a dangerous place for him—the Protestants are torturing and killing the Catholics on sight, so Shakespeare must keep his religion a secret...
