TV-on-DVD/BD Pick of the Week

There's only one new blu-ray release this week, Universe: Complete Season 5, so I won't be making a pick this week. However, for DVD, I will definitely be picking up Mi-5: Volume 8. I have been watching this British answer to 24 each January as new seasons are released on DVD in the US. I am really looking forward to another excellent season. It's also great to see a lower MSRP on this latest release.

TV-on-DVD/BD Pick of the Week

For blu-ray, I would definitely recommend picking up the FX series Justified: The Complete First Season (especially since Amazon currently has a hefty discount). It's perfectly timed to give you time to catch up before the second season premiere. For DVD, check out the not-so-perfectly timed Merlin: The Complete Second Season (SyFy started airing the 3rd season a few weeks ago).

There's a lot of new releases this week, but I would have to go with Greek: Chapter Five - The Complete Third Season. It is great to see the half-season releases come to an end as this volume includes the entire penultimate season in one box set.
