This week is a bit lighter than last week, but still a lot of really great releases.

I’m going to start off with my DVD pick this week. All of this week’s Blu-ray releases have DVD counterparts. The DVD-only releases include Body of Proof S1, Castle S3, The Mentalist S3 and Raising Hope S1. While I would recommend any of those, the release I’m really looking forward to this week is Happy Endings S1. This show was supposed to be a mid-season burn-off with no hope of renewal. However, it turned out to be such a hit with the fans, it was given a last minute renewal. When season 1 originally aired, the episodes were aired all out of order. Now you can re-watch all of the hilarious episodes in the correct chronological order in prep for the second season premiere next week!

This week’s new HD releases include How to Make It in America S1, The Kennedys, Mike & Molly S1, and a Best Buy exclusive release of Hawaii Five-O S1. However, this week I’m picking Modern Family S2. This show mixes humor with heart, and I just can get enough of those crazy Dunphys. Phil is one of the most hilarious characters on television! Season 3 premieres tomorrow, so why not pull an all-nighter and devour the hilarious second season today!
