Seductive, Psychological Thriller VERITY Gets Home Video Release Date
October 28, 2026 – New York, NY – Amazon MGM Studios and Alliance Home Entertainment announce the home video release of Verity. Starring Academy Award Winner Anne Hathaway*, Dakota Johnson, and Josh Hartnett, this provocative and suspenseful thriller will be available on 4K Ultra HD™ (Amazon Exclusive), Blu-ray™ and DVD on December 15th.
Based on Colleen Hoover’s New York Times bestselling novel of the same name, screenwriter Nick Antosca adapted Verity for the screen, and it was brought to life by director Michael Showalter.
In Verity, Lowen Ashleigh, a struggling writer, relocates to the remote estate of renowned author Verity Crawford to ghostwrite her next novel. When she uncovers what appears to be Verity’s chilling autobiographical notes, Lowen wrestles with disturbing confessions about Verity’s husband Jeremy, and finds it hard to separate fiction from reality, manipulation from attraction, and opportunity from obsession.
