Helix props and prosthetics presentation.

We returned to the tables where we first entered the building. We were encouraged to feel the props and have fun. As Brad Turner described the various items on the tables, he kept saying that we’d regret it if we didn’t touch the monkey—though I suspect the opposite was true—after all, it’s a monkey in a medical facility researching a virus outbreak! I did eventually touch the monkey, and it was so creepy and life-like. It had some points on its limbs where sticks could be attached in order to articulate it.

Catered lunch.

After the informal props/prosthetics presentation, we had lunch. The buffet-style lunch was pretty amazing—if this cast and crew actually has filet mignon on their menu every day, where do I sign up?!

12:30pm	Board buses and depart for second Helix set.
1:30pm	Guided set tour continues.
