This week is loaded with new releases.

For blu-ray it’s a tough call as there are 3 items I’d like to pick up this week, including The Pacific, V: The Complete First Season and Fallen. While The Pacific is the most epic of the three, I didn’t find it quite as good as Band of Brothers . Instead of following just one story throughout the series, this mini-series splits it focus accross 3 different stories.
For those on a budget, I would recommend Fallen. I watched the original Fallen TV movie when it aired on ABC Family, but have not seen the 2 follow-up parts (all 3 of which are included here for a low price). No doubt this is finally getting a BD release due to the popularity of its star, Paul Wesley, on TVD.

For DVD, there are a lot of releases this week. Many of Bravo’s reality shows are getting a general release this week (previously they were only available as Target exclusives). If you haven’t seen these shows yet, I would definielty recommend checking out either Flipping Out or Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List for a good laugh.
