TWO NICOLAS CAGE ACTION BLOCKBUSTERS ARRIVE ON 4K ULTRA HD JUST IN TIME FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Con Air and National Treasure Come Home on 4K UHD November 10

BURBANK, Calif. (September 22, 2026) – Con Air and National Treasure, two of Nicolas Cage’s most iconic films, will release on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray™ SteelBook on November 10. National Treasure will also launch on 4K Ultra HD Digital the same day (Con Air previously released on 4K HD Digital in 2025). Having captivated theater-goers around the world, the 4K releases deliver an exhilarating showcase of Cage at the peak of his action stardom. From high altitude thrills to an adventure-filled treasure hunt, both films transport audiences with intensity and edge-of-your-seat suspense.

Con Air, directed by Simon West and produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, is packed with memorable one-liners, exhilarating stunts and an incomparable ensemble cast, including John Malkovich, John Cusack, Steve Buscemi and Dave Chappelle. The R-rated action classic earned two Academy Award nominations and remains a hallmark of ’90s blockbuster cinema.

Seven years later, action adventure took a historical turn with National Treasure, also produced by Bruckheimer and directed by John Turteltaub. Cage stars as Benjamin Franklin Gates, a determined historian and cryptologist racing against rivals to decipher a hidden map on the back of the Declaration of Independence. Balancing age-old puzzles with intense chase scenes, the beloved film, which carries a PG rating, continues to excite audiences across generations.

Both films have been restored in stunning 4K, Dolby Atmos, and Dolby Vision, therefore home viewers can experience every explosion, clue and chase again (or for the first time) in optimum picture and sound quality. National Treasure will arrive on physical media as a collectible SteelBook 4K UHD and will include 4K UHD bonus feature commentary with director John Turtletaub and actor Justin Bartha. Con Air will debut in a limited-edition 4K UHD SteelBook release that includes the 4K UHD, a Blu-ray disc with bonus features “A View from Above” and “The Destruction of Las Vegas,” and a digital code.
