Interview With UPLOAD Stars Robbie Amell & Kevin Bigley From San Diego Comic-Con 2025

In just about a week, Prime Video’s hilarious series Upload will come to an end. The four-part fourth season/series finale event drops on the service on Monday, August 25. The series is set in a futuristic world where people who are dying have the ability to back up their minds and upload themselves into a digital world where they can continue to live on in the afterlife.

I have really enjoyed this series over the years. It comes from prolific TV creator Greg Daniels, who is able to find this perfect blend of humor and drama, while also providing a thought-provoking look at the commercialization of the afterlife. I’ve already checked out the final four episodes, and I think fans will be pleased with the way it gives each of the characters a chance to find closure. That said, you may want to re-visit season three before watching the final season to get a refresher since it’s been a while since that originally aired.

At this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Amazon brought executive producer/writer Maxwell Vivian, showrunner/creator Greg Daniels, and stars Robbie Amell (“Nathan”), Kevin Bigley (“Luke”), Andy Allo (“Nora”) & Allegra Edwards (“Ingrid”) to discuss the series in a panel and a press room. We were fortunate to participate in the press room, but unfortunately only got the chance to speak with stars Robbie Amell & Kevin Bigley before we had to leave for another press room. The actors couldn’t divulge too many details about this fourth/final season—at one point during our roundtable, Robbie Amell even ran away to confirm he was allowed to talk about something. However, it was a really fun chat—this duo has just as much chemistry off-screen as they do on-screen!
