THE UNBELIEVABLE TRUE STORY OF ROOFMAN PREMIERES ON PARAMOUNT+ DECEMBER 9

December 3, 2025 – Today, Paramount+ announced that ROOFMAN, based on the unbelievable true story of Jeffrey Manchester, will stream on the service in The United States & Canada beginning December 9.*

Based on an incredible true story, ROOFMAN follows Jeffrey Manchester (Channing Tatum), an Army veteran and struggling father who turns to robbing McDonald’s restaurants by cutting holes in their roofs, earning him the nickname: Roofman. After escaping prison, he secretly lives inside a Toys “R” Us for six months, surviving undetected while planning his next move. But when he falls for Leigh (Kirsten Dunst), a divorced mom drawn to his undeniable charm, his double life begins to unravel, setting off a compelling and suspenseful game of cat and mouse as his past closes in.

Certified Fresh™ on Rotten Tomatoes®, ROOFMAN received widespread critical acclaim upon its world premiere at TIFF in September and its October theatrical release in the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. by Paramount Pictures under its first-look deal with Miramax. Deadline called ROOFMAN a “role of a lifetime” for Tatum, and Next Best Picture said Dunst is “stellar” and “effortlessly charming as Leigh.” Variety also praised the film for Tatum and Dunst’s “through-the-roof chemistry,” while Newsweek hailed ROOFMAN as the “perfect balance between suspense, heart and pure entertainment.” With sustained engagement and strong placement across digital platforms, ROOFMAN is also proving to be a standout PVOD release.

ROOFMAN stars Channing Tatum as the film’s titular character, as well as a stellar cast including Kirsten Dunst, Ben Mendelsohn, LaKeith Stanfield, Juno Temple, Uzo Aduba, Lily Collias, Jimmy O. Yang and Peter Dinklage.
