USA Network Gives Series Order To THE RAINMAKER, Based on Bestselling Novel by John Grisham

Logline: Fresh out of law school, Rudy Baylor goes head-to-head with courtroom lion Leo Drummond as well as his law school girlfriend. Rudy, along with his boss and her disheveled paralegal, uncover two connected conspiracies surrounding the mysterious death of their client’s son.

From Lionsgate Television and Blumhouse Television, “The Rainmaker” is based on the worldwide bestselling novel by John Grisham.

This comes as Lionsgate and Blumhouse recently teamed up on a multi-picture film deal with Blumhouse reimagining horror classics from the Lionsgate library.

Jason Richman and Michael Seitzman co-wrote the pilot.
