Los Angeles, CA – Excellent! On August 6, a new 6-Disc box set celebrating two time-traveling dudes will arrive from Shout! Studios. Bill & Ted’s Most Triumphant Trilogy (4K ULTRA HD™ + Blu-Ray™) includes Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (via a NEW 4K scan from the original 35mm camera negative), and Bill & Ted Face The Music (featuring a NEW 4K remaster from the digital intermediate, presented in Dolby Vision). Bill & Ted’s Most Triumphant Trilogy marks the worldwide 4K debut of Bogus Journey, and the US 4K debut of Face The Music, and it includes loads of most awesome special features.
Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (4K UHD) and Bill & Ted Face The Music (4K UHD) will also be available for purchase individually on August 6, with Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure also available on Shoutfactory.com, having been previously released. (Cue the air guitar!)
Strange things are afoot at the Circle K… In Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure (1989) San Dimas, California, teens Bill (Alex Winter ) and Ted (Keanu Reeves ) are dangerously close to flunking their high school history class. Luckily, they get some unexpected help from Rufus (George Carlin ), a man from the future who gives the guys a time-travelling phone booth that allows them to meet such historical luminaries as Abraham Lincoln, Billy the Kid, Joan of Arc, Napoleon, and more.
When Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey (1991) begins, Bill (Alex Winter ) and Ted (Keanu Reeves ) have to go to incredible lengths to win an important band contest. It’s, like, into Heaven and Hell they go, encountering some look-alike robots and challenging the Grim Reaper to a game of Battleship.
The long-awaited third entry in the popular comedy/sci-fi series, Bill & Ted Face The Music (2020) , finds the universe on the brink of destruction-and Bill (Alex Winter ) and Ted (Keanu Reeves ) still haven’t written the song that was meant to prevent that very catastrophe. Can another wild trip through time and a little help from their respective daughters (Samara Weaving and Brigette Lundy-Paine ) get the tune penned before all of reality is lost forever?
