Prime Video Reveals Teaser Trailer, Key Art and a Launch Date for Irish Original Series LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland
The Irish Original series will launch exclusively on Prime Video on 19th January 2024
Prime Video has revealed the official teaser trailer, launch date and key art for its first Irish Original comedy series, LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland, ahead of the series global launch on 19th January 2024.
The series will feature some of Ireland’s biggest and best comedic talent: Aisling Bea, Amy Huberman, Catherine Bohart, David McSavage, Deirdre O’Kane, Emma Doran, Jason Byrne, Martin Angolo, Paul Tylak, and Tony Cantwell.
The fan-favourite LOL: Last One Laughing format has become the most watched title of all time on Prime Video in Italy, France, and Germany, and had hugely successful local versions in Mexico, Australia, India, Spain, Canada, The Netherlands, Colombia, Argentina, Brazil, and Sweden. Other local celebrity hosts include Jay Baruchel (Canada), Eugenio Derbez (Mexico), Fedez (Italy), Michael “Bully” Herbig (Germany), and Rebel Wilson (Australia). Prime Video recently announced LOL: Last One Laughing South Africa will be its first South African Original, hosted by Trevor Noah. LOL: Last One Laughing Ireland is the latest adaptation of the successful Prime Video series in Japan, Documental, created by and starring Hitoshi Matsumoto and owned by Yoshimoto Kogyo, where Matsumoto leads 10 comedians in an anything goes “battle of laughter behind closed doors.”
