BritBox, the subscription streaming service from BBC Studios and ITV, offering the biggest and best collection of unmissable streaming British entertainment in North America, is starting the year off right with a thrilling month of series returns and a brand new BritBox Original series. A major highlight in the slate is the premiere of Hope Street, a BritBox Original crime drama set in Northern Ireland. From acclaimed producers of The Bill, Paul Marquess and Donna Wiffen, the series is set in the fictional town of Port Devine and will focus on Port Devine’s police department – and the mysterious arrival of English Detective Constable Alimah Kahn, the first Muslim police officer in the town’s history.
January will also be an exciting month of series return with part 2 of Vera S11 starring award-winning Brenda Blethyn (Kate & Koji, Secrets & Lies) on January 9 and Father Brown S9 on January 18.
