We were in this year’s SDCC press room for Gotham, the new before-he-was-Batman series that premieres next week on FOX. While there were a lot of cast members in the room, we only got to speak with two of them—Ben McKenzie (“Detective James Gordon”) and Donal Logue (“Detective Harvey Bullock”)— as well as executive producers Bruno Heller and Danny Cannon. Curt Wagner of RedEye Chicago was also at my table, and he was able to arrange a quick 2-minute interview with Robin Taylor (“Oswald Cobblepot” aka “The Penguin”) just as the room was emptying. Unfortunately cast members Erin Richards, David Mazouz, Camren Bicondova and Jada Pinkett Smith never made it to our table.
