The second season starts September 30 on Showtime. However, on August 28th, you can take the first season home on DVD and Blu-Ray from Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment and re-live all of the gripping drama (or discover what you missed!).

This Blu-ray includes all 12 episodes of the first season (664 minutes) in full 1080p video with 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio. It also includes Deleted Scenes and an “Under Surveillance – Making Homeland” featurette.

 

 

 

The folks at Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment have given us a copy of the Homeland Season 1 Blu-ray to give away to one lucky NoReruns.net reader.

For your chance to win, all you need to do is leave a comment below telling us your favorite thing about the series, or what you’d like to see happen in season 2. If you haven’t seen the first season yet, just let us know why you would like to win.

Around the August 28th release date, we will randomly pick the winner and contact him or her for their mailing info to forward on to the folks at Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, who will mail out the Blu-ray directly. The prize can only be shipped to addresses within the United States and Canada, and cannot be shipped to P.O. Boxes.

    Lots of great things about this show: Damian Lewis (have been a big fan for a long time). He’s so good in the complex role of Nicholas Brody and is really a fine actor. Also love Claire Danes-she is tough but tender, passionate and fiery (this is her best role). And, of course, most of the show is filmed in my hometown so it’s cool seeing local scenery (wonder if I can get a job as an extra?) I don’t have Showtime so I didn’t get to see this show when it premiered but I marathoned it one weekend and was just wowed. Definitely one of my current faves. I would LOVE to win, if that’s not evident.

    This show takes a topic that could’ve become silly very quickly (conspiracy theory) and keeps it sophisticated and interesting. I’ve never seen a show that kept me on the edge of my seat more than this one! I REALLY want to win a copy!

    i got to see a bunch of the episodes during the Sho time preview weekend but id love to be able to catch up on what i missed. its a pretty crazy show in tone, story wise and action wise as well. cant wait for the next preview weekend to see season 2.

    This is one of the shows that I am most looking forward to watching this fall. The first season was nothing short of amazing. Each week I couldn’t wait to see what happened next. Carrie is such a complex and interesting character and I love to see how she reacts to certain situations. Also, I like that the show doesn’t really tell us whether Brody is good or bad and I kind of like that uncertainty.
