There are a lot of great TV-on-DVD releases coming out this week. However, my choice for Blu-ray of the week is a simple one, Game of Thrones: The Complete First Season. This show looks amazing and I can’t wait to see how it looks in full HD. Game of Thrones is really complex and thus really lends itself to rewatching, to catch what you may have missed the first time(s) watching. In addition to all 10 episodes of the first season, this set is loaded with exclusive bonus content including comprehensive histories, Anatomy of an Episode featurette, in-episode guides & much more! Catch up on this excellent show before the new season starts on April 1.

For my DVD pick, I’m going with Mi-5: Volume 10. This DVD set contains the 6-episode tenth series of the UK spy show. This final series of the show was never aired in the United States, so it is great that we have a chance to catch it on DVD. I’ve been watching this series since it first started. I love the way they always keep you guessing–no one seems to be safe at any time. I can’t wait to pick this up and see how the series is wrapped up.
