This is another hard week on the wallet for TV-on-DVD/BD collectors/fans.

There are only two Blu-ray releases this week. I have mixed feelings about The Office Season 7, which was just another mediocre season for the show (which hit its high point years ago), but it also marks the end of Michael Scott. However, I am highly recommending Fringe Season 3. This season gave us a look at the Fringe division in both the red & the blue alterverses, and we got to see Anna Torv’s versatility as three characters. The third season also gave us an animated episode and left us with an amazing cliffhanger! I can’t wait for the new season.

There are a lot of DVD releases this week, including Community Season 2, Criminal Minds Season 6, Fringe Season 3, The Good Wife Season 2, The Office Season 7, and one-season wonders Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior and No Ordinary Family. While I really enjoyed most of these shows (minus Suspect Behavior), the standout of the week for me has to be Parks and Recreation Season 3. I was ready to stop watching Parks & Rec after the terrible first season. However, the second season was so much better and this third season was a laugh-out-loud riot every week. There are so many hilarious episodes in the third season which I look forward to rewatching on DVD, and I can’t wait for the return of new episodes in just a few weeks!
